Silver Sage Youth Horse Camp is geared towards equine enthusiasts who are ages 9-up.

We offer Day, 1 week, 2 week, and family camps.

Campers will participate in daily ground lessons encompassing safety precautions, horse care, haltering, bridling, proper saddling, horse anatomy, hoof care, and the overall ranch chores.

Campers will also be immersed with bareback riding, arena lessons, trail rides, riding fundamentals, games on horseback, trail course, riding techniques, English, jumping,

 and more.

The relationship between rider and horse takes on an entirely new dimension, campers bond with their horse and learn to trust each other.

Horse Camp builds confidence, independence, self-reliance, leadership skills, responsibility, lasting friendships, and more.

Each Camper will be given their own horse for the duration of their stay.

We assign horses according to the campers level of experience, to ensure that each person has a enjoyable and safe time. Campers do not need previous experience with horseback riding.

Each camper will have lessons scheduled to suit their individual riding abilities and needs. Equestrian campers will receive daily group riding lessons and one on one riding  instruction from our experienced staff to help develop their riding skills.

The Equestrian Staff is comprised of experienced horse lovers who are eager to share their knowledge with campers.

Our mission is to provide campers with a meaningful experience that leaves them with a life-time of memories.

Silver Sage ranch has beautiful trails that stretch across 427+ acres that provide different levels of riding difficulty and you might even partake in helping blaze new ones.

During our off time with the horses we will take many trips to our private lake for swimming, boating, volleyball games, cook-outs, fishing, paddle boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, water raft, water slide, arts & Crafts, various field trips and much more.

The program will progress in difficulty throughout, enabling campers to learn basic skills that build to more advanced knowledge.

The highlight is the fun show, where the campers will showcase their riding skills and unique decorations of their horse during their performance.
